Redwell Waders 18th/19th July

With a trickle of waders starting to move through, Redwell awaits its star find. Otherwise a quiet week-end still managed top produce singles of Manx Shearwater, Pomarine Skua and Kittiwake from the dunes.

Black-tailed Godwit 18th July. 1 of a party of 6.

Ruff 18th July.


Green Sandpiper 18th July. 1 of 3, with at least 8 Green Sands on the NWT Pools the same day.

Black Winged Pratincole 5th June '09

Pictures taken at Titchwell RSPB, where the bird gave stunning flight displays and eventually sat in the open just long enough to snatch a couple of shots. With its regulaly visited ploughed field vivsible from the Observatory, it must have crossed into the recording areas air-space at some point in its stay!
